The Biggest Hack in History

One of the most notable and significant hacks in history is the data breach of Equifax in 2017. Equifax is one of the largest credit reporting agencies in the United States. The hack resulted in the exposure of sensitive personal information of approximately 147 million consumers, including names, social security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and in some cases, driver's license numbers.

The breach affected approximately 3 billion Yahoo user accounts, making it one of the largest data breaches in history. The compromised information included names, email addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords.
